I ordered a cup of black bean soup and the honey butter fried chicken sandwich with fresh fruit and mango sorbet for my side. Own it, acknowledge it, and let's move on. The only thing that irritated me was when I grinned and said, "Hey, it's been 20 minutes I think you forgot about me," the bartender replied with a blank face, "What can I get you?" Excuse me, bartender, I was being nice I totally watched you watching TV over there. I finally waved someone down and, from there, things greatly improved. The bartender greeted me quickly, took my drink order, then promptly forgot I was there for a long time. ![]() The main area was pretty full (it's huge - I visited on a Sunday afternoon) but the bar area was empty so I grabbed a booth in that section. This place caught my eye as I drove by so I stopped in for a quick bite. The inviting patio and the flavorful Jamaican jerk chicken wings with an Aruba Red (beer) will always entice me to return. From start to finish, the experience was enjoyable, and the attention to detail was evident. Service has always been great, with prompt and friendly staff who ensured that everything arrived hot and fresh. Nevertheless, this minor disappointment did not affect our overall dining experience. However, during our last visit, I tried the skirt steak and found it to be lacking in flavor, even with the chimichurri sauce. The grilled salmon was another one of our favorite dishes, seasoned and cooked to perfection, and topped with a delicious herbal butter. I couldn't get enough of the tangy and spicy BBQ dipping sauce that accompanied them. They were perfectly spiced and smoked, resulting in tender, moist meat with great flavor and delightfully crispy skins. ![]() The standout dish for me was the whole Jamaican jerk chicken wings. Sitting in the restaurant's patio when the windows are open during the warm months, it exudes a vibrant Caribbean atmosphere that instantly transports you to a tropical getaway. Bahama Breeze is one of our favorite restaurants in the area.
